From vine to wine...

Red & White
Noble Grapes at the Heart
of Our Identity
In our vineyard, Mourvèdre reveals its full splendor under the embrace of the blazing sun and through the limestone soils that nourish its deep roots. It brings structure, with elegant tannins sculpted by controlled power, and offers an exceptional aging potential. Our red wines, rich and profound, are the sublime expression of this noble varietal, cultivated with endless patience and passionate precision.
Generous and round, Grenache contributes softness and fullness, while Cinsault, light and delicate, brings freshness and subtlety. Together, they give birth to vibrant rosés and fruity, spicy reds. But the richness of our Bandol wines doesn’t stop there: Clairette, Ugni Blanc, and Rolle round out the palette with fresh, elegant whites—floral and mineral notes that echo the Mediterranean light.
The Art of Winemaking
The Expression of Expertise
Winemaking in Bandol is a perfect balance of time-honored tradition and modern precision. Grapes are hand-harvested at peak ripeness and carefully sorted to retain only the best. For reds, fermentation is slow and gentle, allowing for the full extraction of aromas and tannins while preserving finesse and elegance. Extended maceration enhances the richness of Mourvèdre, the appellation’s flagship grape, while seamlessly integrating varietals like Grenache.
For whites and rosés, winemaking is more delicate, involving gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation. This ensures that the freshness and subtle aromas of the white grapes are preserved, highlighting their finesse and unique expression.

A Rigorous Standard &
a Unique Character
Bandol wines, protected under the AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée) designation, follow a strict set of rules that guarantees their authenticity and excellence. This specification defines grape varieties, yields, cultivation techniques, and winemaking methods—ensuring the rigor and singularity that define Bandol.
Aging & Maturation
The Art of Revealing
the Terroir of Bandol AOP
Aging is a crucial step in crafting Bandol wines, marked by the use of large oak foudres. Red wines, in particular, are aged in these large barrels for 18 to 22 months, allowing for slow and gentle oxygenation. This lengthy and meticulous process brings out remarkable complexity and depth, while preserving the purity of the wine’s aromas.
Whites and rosés are aged in tanks. Once bottled, they continue to mature in the cellar and are offered for tasting and sale in the spring following harvest. This patient aging process allows them to develop nuanced aromas, gain roundness and harmony, and fully express the potential of each grape variety.
